HUMAN-COMPUTER INTERACTION
What is it?
Important issues in the Human-Computer Interaction field include how to design, evaluate, and implement software so that it can conform to the user, task, and environmetal requirements. It now covers a wider variety of applications including new technologies such as multimedia, hypermedia, world-wide web, virtual reality, etc.
What I've done and learned so far?
Here follows a list of research projects that I've been leading or involved in so far regarding this topic:
  1. User-centered design of telemedical support systems for eldercare (CBI/UVA, 2000. 9~)
  2. Development of POSCO safety information system for accident prevention, POSCO, 1995. 1 ~ 1995. 12
  3. Development of human factors guidelines for multimedia user interface, POSTECH, 1994. 9 ~ 1995. 8
  4. Development of user interface guidelines by job characteristic, RIST, 1993.3~1994.2
  5. Factors to the human factors evaluation of multimedia user interfaces, POSTECH, 1992. 11 ~ 1993. 10
